Welcome. I wanted to keep a record of my journey, as I complete Teacher Training (SCITT) in Computing from September 2026 to July 2027. I hope to post weekly updates of my progress, including what went well and what didn't. Based in a secondary school in the South East of England, I am moving from a job I worked in for 10 years, to embark on a completely different and new career in teaching. I hope this diary provides a fair reflection of my progress throughout the year and may potentially be useful to others who are also considering a career change. My first day is Tuesday 1st September 2026, looking forward to getting started (I think...)
